The Mexican anti trust commission CFC (Comision Federal de Competencia) has given green light to the merge involving Chevron Phillips Chemical Co, Chevron Corp., and Phillips Petroleum Co., that would create CPChemical. CP Chemical is to manage in Mexico the subsidiaries Plexco de Mexico and Driscopipe Mexicana both operating in the plastic pipes business, and also importing paraxylene and HDPE from the US.
