ABSTRACT: Fahey discusses a gradualist approach to web-based instruction going on at Miami University in Ohio using BlackBoard's COURSEINFO software. While there are problems associated with the current version of the software, not only would this be true of any application, but also there are newer versions on the way. On the whole, Fahey thinks this software would adapt to most teachers' needs, whether they want to do a little or a lot. Training and support are the keys to success; without them users are apt to flounder.
