SEOUL, South Korea, Nov. 7 (UPI)
North Korea won international approval for its pivotal move toward ending isolation, particularly its summit talks with South Korea, China, and Russia. Pyongyang could reap further diplomatic benefit from a visit by President Clinton before he leaves office. But analysts say the communist country's recent success in reaching out to other nations has encouraged it to take a harder line with Japan, which is trying not to fall behind international efforts to mend ties with North Korea.
