Joe Anderson, state president of BellSouth's South Carolina operations, announced his retirement today, concluding a nearly 34-year career with the company. Harry M. Lightsey III, senior attorney for BellSouth's customer markets group, has been promoted to a corporate officer and named to replace Anderson in South Carolina.
