ATLANTA, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ --
Cox Radio, Inc. (NYSE: CXR) announced today that it has entered into a definitive agreement with Radio One, Inc. (Nasdaq: ROIA) to acquire WDYL-FM serving Richmond, Virginia and WJMZ-FM / WPEK-FM serving Greenville, South Carolina for a total of $52.5 million in cash. Pending customary regulatory approvals, Cox Radio anticipates closing this transaction during the first quarter of 2001.
