The cooler weather sort of took me by surprise last weekend.
I have been doing some work on the furnace, but I haven't yet completed the regular maintenance, so we didn't get to use it.
It didn't matter. The insulation I've dumped into that house over the past 13 years, especially in the basement walls, has worked its magic.
