WASHINGTON _ Two days after the presidential election produced no official winner, Vice President Al Gore's campaign said Thursday that it would aggressively pursue a victory in Florida, even if it meant going to court and delaying the election's outcome.
A two-day Florida recount, triggered by Texas Gov. George W. Bush's razor-thin margin in the state, appeared to narrow the gap to such a small number that no outcome can be definitive without absentee ballots that still are arriving from Americans overseas.
