The ouster of Senate President Franklin M. Drilon and the election of Sen. Aquilino Q. Pimentel Jr., chairman of the Senate Blue Ribbon committee to Drilon's post when Congress resumes its regular session Monday appeared certain yesterday.
Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile of the administration Lapian ng Masang Pilipino (LAMP) said that the pro-Pimentel bloc in the Senate already has enough votes, 14, to unseat Drilon in the 22-member Senate.
"We have more than enough," Enrile told a radio program.
