LSI Logic Corporation (NYSE: LSI) announced today that it will be demonstrating the interoperability of high-performance, two-Gigabit-per second (2-Gb/s) Fibre Channel technology at the Fall COMDEX show to be held at the Las Vegas Convention Center from November 13-17, 2000. The demonstrations showcase a homogeneous environment utilizing products available today, linking 2-Gb/s Fibre Channel hard drives from IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Seagate (NYSE: SEG) to LSI Logic's new dual-channel, 2-Gb/s host adapter board, which incorporates the industry's first PCI-to-Dual Channel 2-Gb/s Fibre Channel controller.
