CheckFree (NASDAQ: CKFR) today announced a strategic business alliance with Data Support Systems of Omaha, Nebraska, and US Dataworks of Houston, Texas, to provide the industry's first end-to-end solution for the conversion of returned checks to Automated Clearing House (ACH) items.

The Standard Entry Class for Re-presented Check Entry (RCK) adopted by NACHA-The Electronic Payments Association allows for the conversion of returned checks to electronic transactions.
