TheTrainline will expand its server technology and delivery capacity by the end of the month, in a move to avoid more delays and capacity shortfalls, after a 96% rise in use during last week's fuel shortage.
Alan Meekings, TheTrainLine's CEO, said: "We'd already planned to increase server capacity, using a BigIP to spread the load. This will just happen sooner and double our capacity." The company also saw an estimated 300% rise in inquiries.
