As I write this I'm listening to the worst album I've heard all year: "Stoned Immaculate: The Music of the Doors."
It's my third time through, just to be sure. A moment, then, if you please.
(Pause. Yawn. Stretch.)
Yup, it stinks. Something lousier could come my way by Christmas. But I doubt it.
Just who thought Creed could do a credible version of "Riders on the Storm"? Who told Stone Temple Pilots to take the bite out of "Break on Through"? Who in the world let Days of the New destroy not just "L.A. Woman" but also "The End"? Who expected Bo Diddley to make "Love Her Madly" fit his famous beat?
Wait, it gets worse. Try ...
