RED WINGS' 1988-89 SCHEDULE AND TICKET INFORMATION
DETROIT, May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- The Detroit Red Wings open their 63rd National Hockey League season Thursday, Oct. 6, at Los Angeles as part of a three-game trip that takes them to Vancouver and Calgary before they open the home portion of the schedule Friday, Oct. 14, against St. Louis.
It marks the third year in a row and the fifth time in the past six seasons that the Red Wings will begin the season away from home.
The Red Wings also announced that season tickets are on sale now. Season-ticketholders will purchase a 44-game package at Joe Louis Arena that includes three exhibition ...
