Vulcan Materials Company (NYSE:VMC) announced today that its Calizas Industriales del Carmen S.A. (CALICA) joint venture quarry on Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula has received ISO 9002:1994 registration. Virtually all industrialized nations have adopted the ISO 9000 series standards making them the international vehicle for upgrading quality systems and making them uniform.
