You've heard the distinctive slide guitar work of Sonny Landreth if you own records by John Hiatt, Bonnie Raitt, the Neville Brothers, Beausoleil, Marshall Crenshaw and others. But the 49- year-old sideman waited until the '90s to make his own records.
