GM-CSF SPEEDS RECOVERY OF WHITE BLOOD CELLS
IN BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT PATIENTS
SEATTLE, May 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Bone marrow transplant patients treated with recombinant human granulocyte-macrophage colony stimulating factor (GM-CSF) demonstrated markedly earlier signs of recovery than transplant patients who did not receive GM-CSF therapy. GM-CSF is an experimental drug created by Immunex Corporation (NASDAQ: IMNX) and Behringwerke AG (subsidiary of Hoechst).
