BRITAIN'S top TV writers have backed the BBC's plan for a new Scottish soap - and insisted it must be set in Glasgow.
The Beeb are keeping their cards close to their chest on their new prime-time flagship show, only saying it won't be another High Road.
So we asked Brookside creator Phil Redmond, former Coronation Street axeman Brian Park and Sky Dream Team producer Jane Hewland for their ideas. All agreed that we have to kiss goodbye to tartan and haggis and switch on to urban chic.
