CLEVELAND _ John Hart is unbuckling his seat belt, removing the pedal from the metal and shifting into neutral, at least for the time being.
Now that Ellis Burks with the Indians, the Tribe general manager wants to see where the free-agent market is going before he makes another move.
"I think, at this stage, we're going to step back from the market and take a look," Hart said Monday in announcing the signing of Burks to a three-year guaranteed contract with a club option for a fourth season.
"We are going to look at the middle market," Hart continued, "but even there, I think the asking price of a number of players isn't very appealing."
