What should she buy?
Anna's breath made little clouds in the icy air. Pennies jingled in her red purse as she trotted to Grizzly's Store.
"Well, Anna Bear! What can I do for you this cold Christmas Eve? Does Mama Bear need more sugar?" asked Mr. Grizzly as he put candy canes into a big glass jar.
"No, I'm doing my Christmas shopping. I have my own money this Christmas," Anna said, shaking her heavy purse.
"Now how did such a little bear get so much money?" Mr. Grizzly asked.
"I saved it!" Anna said. "For Christmas surprises!"
