The Lockheed Martin [LMT] Joint Air-to-Surface Standoff Missile succeeded in a test flight to gather aerodynamic data, a program official said Friday.
"This particular mission was like a well choreographed ballet. JASSM flew every maneuver exactly as expected," Air Force Lt. Col. Tim Moore, the deputy director of the JASSM program at the Air Armaments Center at Eglin AFB, Fla., told Defense Daily in a telephone interview.
