Well, the Marblehead Yacht Club cleared outa the Cove last week, having spent the weekend on their annual Maine raft-up n'lobster bake.
We Covers have been hostin' the event f'years ever since Commodore Tennis Ball Crowley came on board -- "T.B." as he's been known 'round here since he was a shaver n' spent summers with his granddad, "Rackets" Crowley, on Hen Clam Point. Rackets got his local name not from the tennis court but evading the bench court. But a very generous man t'the locals was Rackets.
Anyway, most of the Marbleheaders dieseled in on Friday escorted by the club's pilotboat, Greenspan.
