Weather Closes Mexican Ports

Mexico's three main oil ports, all in the Gulf of Mexico, were closed to shipping Tuesday as a cold front in the Gulf whipped up waves and drenched the coasts of Veracruz and Tabasco states with rain.

Cayo Arcas port in the state of Campeche was closed Tuesday because of weather conditions 10- to 12-foot waves and winds of 30-37 miles per hour, the Communications and Transport Ministry said.
