IRISH eyes were smiling at the conclusion of the Millennium Test Match, staged at the Watson Stadium over the weekend.
The strong Ireland side defeated Guernsey 31-14 over a series of matches, that included a mixed pairs category.
In fact, the Irish emerged undefeated in all four disciplines . . . sharing the honours in pairs in triples, but winning the mixed event and the singles.
