Agrium has secured approval from regulatory authorities for its US$321m purchase of Unocal's nitrogen assets. The company agreed to divest itself of the Rivergate ammonia and urea terminal at Portland, Oregon, as well as part of the Kennewick urea terminal in Washington state, in order to secure the deal.
