Article: IOM medical errors study overstates problems.(Brief Article)

Has the Institute of Medicine's (IOM) late 1999 report on medical errors, "To Err is Human," sent physicians and health care systems on wild goose chases?

That's the message in the July 5, 2000, issue of the Journal of the American Medical Assn. (JAMA).
