Through its Profit Through Prevention Initiatives workshop program, The New York City Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) is reaching out to metropolitan-area printers to let them know that it's there to help businesses, not just to fine them. The DEP is using this program to encourage printers to contact state and city agencies for guidance and assistance to manage environmental hazards and to demonstrate that good overall environmental practices promote efficiencies that can translate into cost savings and revenue.
