TOKYO, Nov 27 Asia Pulse - As of October 2003, Japanese oil distributors will replace all their light oil products used as fuel for diesel vehicles to more environmentally viable products with lower sulfuric contents.
The companies are responding to the demand by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and others for lower sulfuric levels in light oil starting fiscal 2003. The automobile industry is also poised to introduce new vehicles that are geared for lower-sulfur light oil.
