BLOOMINGDALE'S STORES COMMEMORATE BICENTENNIAL OF FRENCH REVOLUTION
WITH MAJOR PROMOTION IN FALL 1989
PARIS, Oct. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- All 17 Bloomingdale's department stores in the United States will celebrate 200 years of French creative achievement and will rededicate themselves to Franco- American friendship when they commemorate the bicentennial of the French Revolution with a major promotion entitled "Vive La France!" in fall 1989.
Announcement of the promotion, to run from Sept. 14 through Nov. 4, 1989, was made at the Automobile Club of France here today by Bloomingdale's Chairman Marvin S. Traub.
