Auckland International Airport has apparently offered to lower the proposed increase on airport landing charges.

The offer has been made to seven of the major airlines operating from the airport and two have apparently accepted. Air New Zealand is said to be among the five that have so far resisted the increase, according to The Dominion, and has apparently filed a lawsuit challenging the charges, citing inadequate consultation.
