Colorado-built rockets stood up to Hurricane Floyd.
The first teams to return to Cape Canaveral Wednesday afternoon found four rockets as they left them when the area was evacuated: standing on launch pads protected by their massive support structures.
``A small group of Lockheed Martin employees went back onto the base and made a quick, cursory inspection,'' company spokesman Evan McCollum said. ``Preliminary indications are it certainly is not as bad as it could have been.''
