CORRECTION PUBLISHED NOVEMBER 7, 1999 FOLLOWS: A story on Page 14A Saturday about the resignation of Sen. Mike Feeley as Glendale city attorney should have said that Tea Party-backed Councilman Mark Smiley supported Feeley's hiring in November 1998 but now says he was the wrong choice.

GLENDALE -- After one year as attorney for a city government doing battle with the Glendale Tea Party, State Sen. Mike Feeley has had enough.

Feeley told the City Council this week that he will resign, effective Dec. 31.
