BOULDER -- A private investigator working for John and Patsy Ramsey's lawyers met Thursday with prosecutors leading the grand jury investigation into their daughter's death.
H. Ellis Armistead, hired by the Ramseys' lawyers shorty after JonBenet's Christmas night 1996 murder, arrived at the office of Boulder District Attorney Alex Hunter shortly before 9 a.m. He left the building a little more than an hour later. He was never seen entering the courtroom where the grand jurors were meeting, although the courthouse does provide ways in which he could have done so undetected.
