GLENDALE -- Former Councilman Bill Junor recently threw away his membership card in the Glendale Tea Party out of disgust with some of its tactics.
Last week, Marc Kamin resigned as Tea Party president, saying he no longer could back everything the party does.
And the three City Council members the Tea Party swept into office in a 1998 election are now butting heads with party leaders.
Some observers see these events as evidence that the Tea Party is self-destructing less than two years after seizing power in a heated debate over proposed restrictions on strip clubs.
