The early days of the "Painted Bride Gallery", one of Philadelphia's most noted venues for artistic expression, is the focus of an exhibit at Community College of Philadelphia's Rotunda Gallery. The exhibit entitled "Of Wars and Bridal Paint" features ten paintings by artists from the Bride's earliest 3, 2, and 1 person shows, photographs, memorabilia, and print media displays of the politics and culture of the times, as well as personal recollections and text by Bernard F. Stehle, Associate Professor of English at the College.
