Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), creator and operator of neutral Internet Business Exchange(TM) (IBX(TM)) centers, today announced the expansion of its Washington, D.C. area IBX center complex by more than 450 percent. The 148,000 square-foot addition brings the complex, which originally opened in the fall of 1999, to 180,000 square-feet -- the largest of Equinix's six IBX centers.
