TNPC, Inc. (NYSE: NPW), parent of The New Power Company, the first national residential and small business energy provider, today announced it had received its certificate as a Competitive Retail Electric Service Provider from the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio. The New Power Company will begin to serve electric customers in Ohio in 2001.
