Tickets for Amtrak's Acela Express -- America's first high-speed train -- went on sale today as the company also announced a new nationwide frequent rider program -- Amtrak Guest Rewards -- providing travelers with even more reason to choose Amtrak.
Amtrak celebrated the first ticket sales with events in Boston, Providence, New York, and Washington, presenting special guests with honorary first Acela Express tickets and the first membership cards in Amtrak Guest Rewards.
