Tokyo -- QoS Networks, a new generation IP network using intelligent, high-performance routing to optimise content delivery, with guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS), today announced its entry into the Japan market. QoS has secured a Special Type II Telecommunications Carrier license and established points-of-presence (POPs) in Tokyo and Osaka.

QoS has already signed several agreements with Japan Telenet. In addition NTT Data is currently studying interconnection and agency agreements proposed by QoS. KDDI is also studying an interconnection agreement.
