Six weeks into his governorship, Bill Owens is moving to overhaul state government.
Owens wants to hire an internationally recognized consulting firm to find ways to make state government work better at less cost, the director of the newly created Office of Innovation and Technology said Thursday.
Marc Holtzman revealed the plan shortly after Gov. Bill Owens named him to head the new technology office in addition to his regular duties as director of the Colorado International Trade Office.
