The way some fly anglers fish still waters for trout makes Denny Rickards want to cringe.
``This is not a complex sport. We just make it that way,'' said Rickards, fly fishing author and fishing guide from Klamath Falls, Ore.
Stillwater fly angling is the fastest-growing component of Western fly fishing, Rickards told a rapt audience Thursday at the Gart Sports International Sportsmen's Exposition in Currigan Hall. Yet most stillwater anglers go about it all wrong.
