BOULDER -- John and Patsy Ramsey need not wait for an invitation to testify before the grand jury investigating their daughter's slaying.
``There are provisions statutorily where the Ramseys themselves can petition to address the grand jury at their own request,'' said Denver attorney Dave Heckenbach.
Heckenbach is the former chief deputy district attorney in Denver in charge of the complex prosecutions unit, supervising all Denver grand jury prosecutions from 1985 to 1992.
