Some of pro football's all-time great quarterbacks are ready to welcome John Elway into the ranks of the retired.
Elway is announcing his retirement today, after 16 seasons of playing for the Denver Broncos. During those years, Elway has won more games than any other NFL quarterback. He also has won an NFL Most Valuable Player award, a Super Bowl MVP award and back-to-back championship rings from the past two seasons.
``I think if you can step away and know that it's your time, it's a perfect way to go out,'' former San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Joe Montana said. ...
