There will be ceremony, anticipation and excitement today when the Colorado Rockies play their home opener at Coors Field, along with an underlying reality.
Instead of being dominant at home last year, the Rockies were ordinary. And they were even far short of subpar early in the season, when they careened off track in April and never recovered.
