One easily gets the idea Ron Hornaday likes racing at Pikes Peak International Raceway.
But then, Hornaday, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck champion, never seems to be dissatisfied with any track. After all, he has won on most of them.
``PPIR is a great track for the trucks,'' said Hornaday, who won six races last year and has two under the hood this season. ``There are grooves all over and, as shown last year, it's not impossible to race four abreast.''
Hornaday won last year's Craftsman Truck race at PPIR in Fountain and will attempt to defend his race title in today's NAPA 300K on the 1-mile, ...
