A bounty of garden-related events awaits Coloradans this summer, with tours, concerts and competitions.
The 12th annual Vail Valley Festival of Flowers, presented by Betty Ford Alpine Gardens, kicks off its two-month celebration of native wildflowers with a children's butterfly launch today.
The public is invited to join 400 Eagle County third-graders from noon to 2 p.m. to set loose hundreds of Painted Lady butterflies they raised from larvae.
On June 14, the festival's annual plant sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Riverwalk at Edwards, exit 163 off Interstate 70. This year's ...
