Jay Feder, a Denver jeweler, was charged Tuesday with receiving stolen property and failing to keep track of his jewelry purchases.
Feder, 48, was arrested Tuesday at his store, Jay Feder Jewelers at 910 16th St., on the 16th Street Mall.
He was charged with one count of theft by receiving and six violations of the state Valuables Articles Act. He was released on $10,000 bond.
``Mr. Feder, who has been in business many, many years, is anxious to get back to his business, and hopefully, wants all of the facts about this cleared up,'' Gary Lozow, Feder's attorney, said.
