State needs to stop illegal use of fireworks
Every year around the Fourth of July we read editorials lamenting the folly of people who play with fireworks instead of attending professionally managed events. I know an insurance adjuster who spends the holiday handling damage claims filed due to fireworks accidents.
Sure enough, two unsupervised children using fireworks recently destroyed much of an apartment building. In this case, no one was injured, but invariably someone is. Pets are always terrified.
Never mind that fireworks that explode or fly in the air are supposedly illegal along the Front Range. Tell that to the people holding an ...
