Dear Santa,
Remember me? I was that kid who turned over the tree that night so long ago, and it hit the coffee table, breaking the plate and sending cake crumbs all over the living room. Mother had a fit. And hey, you know that chemistry set you brought a couple of years after that? I set the doily on the sideroom sofa table on fire with the burner, but I didn't mean to, honest. Besides, it only took the end of one diamond off.
I want you to know that somewhere I've still got that pair of cowboy chaps you brought. From time to time, just about everybody in the family tried to get rid of them, (especially Aunt Jessie, who claimed they were diseased) but ...
