Denver gets tennis funding
The U.S. Tennis Association and the Intermountain Section has announced that Denver is one of 186 markets to receive funding in the second year of the USA Tennis Plan for Growth, a five-year, $50 million commitment to increase tennis participation across the country.
Denver was chosen from among hundreds of applicants and will receive funding for local USA Tennis 1-2-3 and USA Team Tennis programs, as well as organizational support.
USA Tennis 1-2-3 is a series of six low-cost introductory group lessons. USA Team Tennis offers children and adults the opportunity to plan organized matches in a friendly atmosphere.
