Rhombic Corp. (11811 N. Tatum Blvd., #3031, Phoenix, AZ 85028; Tel: 604/683-4864; Email: info@rhombic.com) believes that its Diamond Electrode technology can be advanced to a demonstrator phase within 18 months after receiving the funding for the project.
Fuel cell electrodes are one of the weak links in fuel-cell systems. They are susceptible to erosion because of oxidation and reduction. The University of Missouri advises that the Rhombic conductive diamond film is highly resistant to chemical attacks and can be further used to add impurities to porous conductive diamond films, including the catalyst.
